Following changes to the Hall Committee in May and after the immediate interim period the Committee are grateful to Christine Hall who assisted by her husband Brian has taken on the role of voluntary Hall Keeper. As finances improve matters such as cleaning and maintenance will be properly organised but in the meantime much rests on the shoulders of Brain and Christine and this is appreciated by all. They stay in Crosswinds opposite the hall. Christine is also responsible for all hall bookings and can be contacted on 821556

On Friday 23rd June the children of Edderton Primary School visited the local distillery, Balblair. This was organised as part of the P4-7 project for this term which involved learning about Edderton – past and present. A thoroughly enjoyable morning was had by all. |

Pupil Council Fundraise Success |

On the 1st June Edderton Primary Pupil Council held a video/book sale to raise money for new picnic benches and seats for their playground. Within half an hour they managed to raise an outstanding £108.06. This will buy one picnic bench. Further fundraising activities are planned. |

Edderton Primary School is fundraising for a new playground. There will be a variety of events run throughout the year. As part of this initiative the Pupil Council will be running a major campaign during August/September 2006. They will be selling spring flowering bulbs – Daffodils, Tulips, Hyacinths, Anemones, Dutch Iris, Crocus, Snowdrops and indoor bulbs.
