Car Boot Sales Raffle - Thank You Message
The Village Hall Committee would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who has so generously donated prizes for all the raffles that have been held at the Car Boot Sales and other events that have been held at the Hall.  We would also like to thank the following companies for their very kind donations of raffle prizes:  Balblair of Edderton, Glenmorangie, Co-operative Society of Tain, Morrisons of Alness and Howsons of Inverness.

Holiday Club Scams to be tackled by European Commission
Bogus Holiday Clubs are to be cracked down by the European Commission (EC).    Many ‘Holiday Clubs’ have adopted sharp practices and dubious sales pitch on unsuspecting consumers over the years.  As a result thousands of consumers have fallen victim of these scams which invite consumers to buy membership of a holiday club on the promise of cheap holidays for years to come, only to find out later that the membership they have bought is worthless.

Village Clean Up
The annual Village Spring Clean is on Friday April 20th.
Please come along and do your bit to tidy up our village environment. Litter bags and rubber gloves provided.
Meet at the village hall at 7.00 pm.  The more volunteers the better  ..  by 8.30 pm the village is usually spotless.
A skip will be delivered to the village hall car park for village use on Thursday 19th April or on the morning of Friday April 20th  ..  the day of the clean up.
Stars in their Eyes
During ‘Healthy Highland Week’ the children of Edderton Primary School took part in a variety of events. On Monday there was a Highland baking session when scones were made and then a Local Nature Walk. Tuesday there were Reading and Writing workshops.

Community Benefit
As you are aware, Edderton is to benefit from the generation of electricity at the Beinn Tharsuinn windfarm to the tune of over £13,000 a year. The procedures for applying for the money for local projects is now in place. So Edderton Community Council is inviting applications.
