As 2007 draws to a close Edderton Community Council can look back on another year of achievement but as usual much still awaits our attention. One of our achievements is the completion of the Firth Viewpoint on the B9176 .. Struie Road .. overlooking Edderton.
The idea came from Robin Ashby, Council Secretary and the project was
funded by Scottish Power with a little help from Highland Council who
completed the construction and signage works. Robin managed the input
into the design of the attractive framed photo/sign .. if you need to
walk off your Christmas dinner or Hogmanay hangover go up and have a
look .. the view alone makes it worthwhile. Well done Robin.
This edition of the Newsletter will have been edited by Geoff Evelyn,
printed by kind permission of Rev. Graham Muckart at the Manse,
collated and stapled by the Hoggarth family and distributed by David
Petrie, Graham Ross, Albert Fraser .. and me. Thanks and well done
team.
On behalf of all members of Edderton Community Council may I wish all
readers, their families and friends a very happy Christmas and
Hogmanay .. let us hope that 2008 will be kind to one and all.
