Welcome to Edderton

Edderton Congratulates our Youngsters!

Recently some of the younger members of the village have recorded some wonderful results and to celebrate their marvellous individual and team achievements in no particular order we would like to recognise the following:

Well done to Edderton Primary School who came first overall (large and small schools) in Sutherland Country Dancing Competition in Brora in March.  On the same day the girls in the school won The Ross-shire Cross Country Championship and a couple of weeks later the girls again carried off the shield for coming first in North of Scotland Cross CountryTheir trophy cabinet is looking good!!

Well Done to  Ross Gollan who recently won Scottish Cross Country Championships in Perth,  Ross is leaving school this year and going to Glasgow to further his studies.   We wish him well.

Well Done to Rachael Griffin who successfully passed her pre-Nursing Entrance exam and will shortly be going to Stirling to do her Nursing Training.  We wish her well.

Well Done to Kieran Robbins aged 16 who came 3rd in the APR Road Cycle at Cawdor on 20th April (this race was about 55km), and also 3rd Junior in Glasgow at the Nightingale 60km Road Cycle Race.

If there are any other younger members of the community who have achieved a remarkable result then please let us know so that we can add them to the role of honour and let the whole village celebrate their achievements!
